Steward's Report
Inga Mia and Tiggerlong Indi were quick to begin and Reiko Oreo was slow to begin.
Reiko Oreo underwent a post-race veterinary examination after the greyhound raced ungenerously approaching the first turn - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to representative, Robert Camilleri regarding the racing manners of Reiko Oreo approaching the first turn. After hearing evidence from Mr Camilleri, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the first turn.
Lola Coaster underwent a post-race veterinary examination after the greyhound faltered entering the back straight and pulled up. Lola Coaster was found to have a disloacted right hock. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track entering the back straight and deemed it satisfactory for racing.
