Darnun Diva was slow to begin.

Mepunga Tess - underwent a post-race veterinary examination after losing ground sharply through the second turn, which found an injury to the right back muscle and a 5 days stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Nicole Cachia, the handler of Mepunga Tess regarding the racing manners of the greyhound on the second turn. After reviewing all available evidence, Stewards found doubt existed to whether Mepunga Tess had glanced the running rail on the second turn and therefore could not be comfortably satisfied it had offended under any rule, with Stewards not taking any further action.

Little Bit Sleek – Late scratching at 9:55am by trainer Jacqueline Greenough. When arriving on-course Mrs Greenough advised stewards that the scratching for Little Bit Sleek was mistakenly scratched from tonight's race meeting when intending to scratch Slick Sister from Sandown Park on 7/5/22. Stewards have still applied the 10 days stand down period to Little Bit Sleek and referred the matter to the Chief Steward for review. 

Fabriola Ximenez – Late scratching at 15:07pm when trainer Andrea Dailly reported the greyhound to have an illness (GAR 76).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Dusty Lyn was quick to begin. Icarus Bale was slow to begin.

Hannele Bale - contacted the running rail on the first turn and again approaching the second turn. Hannele Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Supplementary Report: The Stewards have accepted that Little Bit Sleek was withdrawn in error, by connections. Under GAR 76(7), Mrs Jacqueline Greenough was issued a fined of $100 for withdrawing Little Bit Sleek for an unacceptable reason; and the stand-down period that was applied on the night, was expired as of 9 May 2022. A veterinary cerftificate was also received that stated Little Bit Sleek was fit and well - and not ill.

A post race sample was taken from Dusy Bourbski - the winner of the event.

Gypsy Wyong – Late scratching during kennelling at 5:31pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian due to a spike wound on the left fore foot GAR 92(2) .  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Smokin' Grille was slow to begin.

A post race sample was taken from Overflow Lisa - the winner of the event.

A pre-race sample was taken from Tobin Frost.

Tobin Frost and Jet Legger were slow to begin.

Hadouken - was severly checked on the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a spike wound on both the left fore and right hand legs. No stand down period was imposed.

Hill Top Jack was slow to begin.

Daph's Ascend was checked approaching the first turn and tailed off as a result. Lala Kiwi faultered in the back straight and tailed off as a result.

Daph's Ascend underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury.  A 28 days day stand down period was imposed.

Lala Kiwi underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury.  A 28 days day stand down period was imposed.

Wiinington Bale was slow to begin.

Indy Ghost and Whiskey Road collided past the winning post, both greyhounds fell as a result.

Orson Ruby underwent a post-race veterinary examination - sustained a spike wound to the right elbow and a right calf injury, 5 days standown down was imposed.
