Shankhill Shandi, Wine And Roses and Thunder Pie were quick to begin.
Pancho Tommy was severely checked on the home turn and underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Zipping Leah underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparant injury. Stewards spoke to Ms Heather Collins, the representitive of Zipping Leah regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Zipping Leah was charged with marring. Ms Collins pleaded guilty to the charge, Zipping Leah was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127(a) and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
