Steward's Report
Big Flatty – New declared weight of 37.0kg, last raced at 35.9kg.
Mr Paul Pace requested an early race endorsement for Jacquinot Jet. The Stewards approved the request after an examination prior to racing by the on-track veterinarian. Jacquinot Jet will compete in early races until further notice.
Jett Kabana was Quick to begin and Jacquinot Jet was slow to begin.
A post-race sample was taken from Inter Jett Kabana- the winner of the event.
Big Flatty underwent a post-race veterinary examination after losing ground over the concluding stages and was re-examined following race 12. Big Flatty was found to have a left front toe injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ronald Dunne, who stated he intends to race Big Flatty at Healesville in future. Acting in accordance with GAR 122, the Stewards requested Mr Dunne to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Big Flatty in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
Mo City underwent a post-race veterinary examination after being severely checked and stumbling on the first turn - no apparent injury was reported.
