Silver Ability, Gazer's Lane and Kanji Kilo collided approaching the first turn. Gazer's Lane and Moon Over Mexico collided approaching the first turn. Sagarmatha and Hardaway Rocket collided on the first turn. Gazer's Lane checked off Kanji Kilo on the first turn causing Kevlar and Gazer's Lance to collide, Gazer's Lane stumbled as a result. Sagarmatha and Hardaway Rocket collided approaching the home turn. Kevlar and Kanji Kilo collided approaching the home turn. Gazer's Lane and Kanji Kilo collided entering the home straight.
Kevlar underwent a post-race veterinary examination due to falling after the finishing line. Kevlar was found to have abrasions to the right foreleg. No stand down period was imposed.
