Earn The Blur was quick to begin.
Earn The Blur visibly eased approaching the first turn. Separatist galloped on Staying approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Almighty Mack checked off Mt. View Ivy entering the home straight. Earn The Blur visibly ease and turned its head inwards entering the home straight. Click And Win checked off Mt. View Ivy in the home straight.
Earn The Blur underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury. Ms Lyn Smith declined the option to have the greyhound re-vetted. Stewards spoke to Ms Lyn Smith, the trainer regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the first turn and again entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Earn The Blur was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Ms. Smith pleaded guilty to the charge, Earn The Blur was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69A(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
