Essential persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, observed social distance requirements, and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Weeona Jack was quick to begin.  Starter’s King was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Man In Blue, Sicilian and West On Klinger collided soon after the start.  West On Klinger visibly eased and pulled up soon after the start.  Take A Daffodil and Man In Blue collided approaching the home turn severely checking Take A Daffodil.

West On Klinger underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right deltoid muscle.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms. Melanie Lithgow, the Trainer of West On Klinger, regarding the greyhound’s racing manners soon after the start.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1), West On Klinger was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Ms. Lithgow pleaded guilty to the charge and West On Klinger was suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69A(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Next Teardrop was quick to begin.  Strike Two and Mt. View Pearl collided soon after the start checking Strike Two.  Miss Mikado and Weeona Evie collided on the first turn.  Show Queen and Strike Two collided on the first turn.  Galiena Bale was checked off Fat Cracker on the home turn and collided with Strike Two and Mt. View Pearl, checking Galiena Bale, Strike Two and Mt View Pearl, causing Galiena Bale and Strike Two to race wide.  Galiena Bale and Fat Cracker raced wide in the home straight.  

Stewards issued a warning to trainer Mrs. Margaret Campbell after she placed the incorrect race rug on Galiena Bale whilst preparing the greyhound for racing pursuant to GAR 86(o).

Leg Burner was quick to begin. High Eden Freddy galloped on Coco’s Hot approaching the first turn checking High Eden Freddy and Stratospheric.  Tempting Fate and Oda May collided on the first turn checking Amber Beauty and Mt. View Buck, severely checking Oda May which fell as a result.

Oda May underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Elswyk Suzie was quick to begin.  Tigers On Fire was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Elswyk Suzie, Black Sky Limit, System Issues and Hurricane Miss collided on the first turn checking Elswyk Suzie, Scott Or Not, Black Sky Limit and System Issues.  Tigers On Fire and System Issues raced wide in the home straight.

Maximum Trina was quick to begin.  

Manila Shine, Feel The Thunder and Saint Phoenix collided soon after the start checking Feel The Thunder.  Manila Shine, Saint Phoenix, Mia’s Hand and Speed Demon collided on the first turn checking Manila Shine, Feel The Thunder and Mia’s Hand. Fancy Mikado and All Inn Chester, were quick to begin.  Queen Of Mojo was slow to begin.  Queen Of Mojo was checked off Beta Days Ahead on the first turn.  Fancy Mikado, Jimmy Maker and Esfahan collided approaching the home turn checking Fancy Mikado and Beta Days Ahead.  Jimmy Maker and Esfahan collided on the home turn.  Fancy Mikado, Queen Of Mojo, Beta Days Ahead and Swedish Duchess raced wide in the home straight.

Mikado Gal and Kiwi Billy were quick to begin.  What Could Be and Black Beaver collided soon after the start.  Captain Warrior and Mt. View Entry collided on the first turn.

Pack Of Jokers and Black Power collided soon after the start.  Johnny Be Good, Barwidgi and Dinkydi Asset collided on the first turn.  Captain Cruiser, Yelredda Saint, Just Augusta and Black Power collided approaching the home turn checking Just Augusta.  Johnny Be Good and Dinkydi Asset collided approaching the home turn.  Captain. Raiser, Just Augusta and Barwidgi collided on the home turn.  Johnny Be Good and Dinkydi Asset collided on the home turn.  Johnny Be Good raced wide in the home straight.  Yelredda Saint, Black Power and Dinkydi Asset collided approaching the winning post.

Johnny Be Good underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a cervico-thoracic injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Elswyk Jordy was quick to begin.  Zippy Customer was slow to begin.  Red Nangana, Fallen Petal and Zippy Customer collided on the first turn checking Fallen Petal.

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Gellar Bale with Mr. Luke Harris and noted his comments.

Findlaystone, Take A Rose and Gellar Bale collided on the first turn checking Take A Rose and Gellar Bale.  Star Night, Hurricane Pete and Hurricane Keely collided on the first turn checking Findlaystone, Hurricane Pete and Meg Rose.  Findlaystone and Hurricane Pete collided approaching the home turn.

Gellar Bale underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance before any future nomination will be accepted pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v).

Clan McMillan and Earn The Fizz collided approaching the first turn.  Alecia, Run To You, Broken Boots, Brazen King, Clan McMillan and Celtic Gypsy collided on the first turn checking Run To You, Clan McMillan and Earn The Fizz, severely checking Alecia, Broken Boots and Brazen King.  Run To You, Celtic Gypsy and Earn The Fizz collided on the home turn.

Gypsy Hook was quick to begin.  Rocks Got Talent, Lennie’s Flyer and Captain Goldie collided approaching the home turn severely checking Lennie’s Flyer and Captain Goldie, Lennie’s Flyer fell as a result and Captain Goldie pulled up.

Lennie’s Flyer underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a lumbo-sacral injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Captain Goldie underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a fractured right radius/ulna and was humanely euthanised.
