Bomber Blitz - New declared weight of 30.8kgs, last raced at 32.0kgs.

Intrepid Cruiser and Nike Apache collided soon after the start.

Bomber Blitz underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right groin injury .  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Benjamin Rose was slow to begin.

Cheap Shot, High Profiler and My Mate Lucas collided soon after the start checking High Profiler and My Mate Lucas.  Deep Witts and High Profiler collided soon after the start.  Benjamin Rose checked off Deep Witts soon after the start and crossed to the outside.  Cheap Shot and Smart Rose collided at the 250m mark and again at the 200m mark.  Cheap Shot checked off Smart Rose approaching the 150m mark.  Cheap Shot and Pitstop Prince collided at the 100m mark.

Misty Rainbow - Late scratching at 9:08am when trainer, Mr Michael Heydon reported the greyhound to have a toe injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Major Bomber was slow to begin.

Mepunga Mustang and Dottie Cotton collided at the 250m mark.  High End and Memphis Rock collided approaching the 200m mark.  Major Bomber and High End collided at the 200m mark.  High End and Memphis Rock collided at the 50m mark.

Aston Merit was slow to begin.

Zeki and Shake And Treble collided soon after the start.  Ding marred Orejitas soon after the start.  Ding crossed out approaching the 200m mark checking Orson Seth.  Ding and Shake And Treble collided several times from the 200m mark to the 150m mark.  Shake And Treble and Mepunga Mantra collided at the 100m mark.  Ding and Shake And Treble collided at the 50m mark checking both greyhounds.

Ding underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right deltoid and the neck.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr Des Douch, the trainer of Ding regarding the greyhound’s racing manners soon after the start.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Ding was charged with marring.  Mr Douch pleaded guilty to the charge, Ding was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Mumma's Bear, a post-race sample was subsequently taken.

Savanah Sky and What's His Caper collided soon after the start.  Kroos and What's His Caper collided at the 200m mark and again approaching the 150m mark.

A pre-race sample was taken from Rockabye Bear.

The start of this event was delayed by approximately 1 minute due to holding for the completion of an Assiniboia Downs gallops race.  

Aeroplane Eric and Rockabye Bear were slow to begin.

Bruree Town and Eagle Jet collided soon after the start.  Rockabye Bear and Bruree Town collided at the 300m mark.  Cosmic Ox and Eagle Jet collided at the 250m mark.  Aeroplane Eric and Rockabye Bear collided at the 250m mark.  Aeroplane Eric, Cosmic Ox and Eagle Jet collided at the 200m mark checking Cosmic Ox and Eagle Jet.

Ted Do and Jimmy Maker were slow to begin.

Colossal Fire and Aston Cinnamon collided at the 300m mark.  Ted Do and Jimmy Maker collided at the 300m mark.  Another Vendetta and Colossal Fire collided approaching the 250m mark.  Gosh checked off Another Vendetta at the 50m mark.

A pre-race sample was taken from Bella Porscha.

Bella Porscha and Stella Diamond collided soon after the start.  Bella Porscha, Stella Diamond and Electric Mick collided soon after the start.  Jordanville Jet and Bella Porscha collided at the 225m mark.  Electric Mick and Bella Porscha collided at the 200m mark and again at the 150m mark.

Pursuant to GAR 104 (7) Steward, Ms Demi Barber did not act in any official capacity for this event.

Gyarados and Rather collided soon after the start.  Lime Cordiale, Gyarados, Rather, Earthworm Jim and Cracker collided soon after the start checking Lime Cordiale, Gyarados, Rather and Earthworm Jim.  Gyarados and Rather collided at the 250m mark checking Gyarados, severely checking Lime Cordiale which lost ground.  

Lime Cordiale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a neck injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

A sample was taken from Rio Bailey upon arrival at the course.

Urana Wendy, Karlee and Hachey Boy were slow to begin.

Hachey Boy crossed out at the 250m mark.

Pursuant to GAR 104 (7) Steward, Ms Demi Barber did not act in any official capacity for this event.

Raichu was slow to begin.

Wild One Mikado, Raichu, Kinlock Blazer, Garth Vader, Big Bird Rose and Major Currency collided soon after the start checking Raichu.  Western Blazer crossed out at the 250m mark checking Wild One Mikado.  Major Currency turned its head inward and visibly eased at the 250m mark.  Major Currency and Western Blazer collided at the 200m mark.  Wild One Mikado and Garth Vader collided at the 200m mark checking both greyhounds.  Kinlock Blazer checked off Garth Vader at the 200m mark.

Major Currency underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr Brian Hodgson, the trainer of Major Currency regarding the greyhounds racing manners at the 250m mark.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1) Major Currency was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Hodgson pleaded guilty to the charge, Major Currency was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

An out of competition sample was taken from Katari Night on 23/8/2021 pursuant to GAR 79A.

A sample was taken from Watch The Clock upon arrival at the course.

Burnt Honey was slow to begin.
