Essential persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, observed social distance requirements, and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

A pre-race sample was taken from Fernando Febey.

Fernando Febey was quick to begin. Zipping Gomez was slow to begin.

Psychosomatic checked off Next Teardrop on the first turn. Combat Mission and Fernando Febey collided on the first turn causing Fernando Febey to fall, subsequently checking Zipping Gomez, Classy Edition and Mt. View Moon. 

Fernando Febey underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have fractures to the right fibula and right tibia. Fernando Febey was humanely euthanased.

A post-race sample was taken from Combat Mission - the winner of the event. 

Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track on the first turn and were satisfied it was satisfactory for racing.

Mt. View Burner was slow to begin.

Burgin Beauty and Eye Candy collided soon after the start checking Eye Candy, Mt. View Gem and Aquiline Nose. Burgin Beauty and Miss Mikado collided approaching the first turn checking Burgin Beauty and Mt. View Gem; causing Burgin Beauty to lose ground and Aquiline Nose to race wide. Mt. View Burner and Mt. View Gem collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Mt. View Ivy and Lulu Osti collided on the first turn checking Lulu Osti and Miss Mikado. Burgin Beauty and Mt. View Burner collided on the first turn checking Burgin Beauty, Mt. View Burner and Mt. View Gem. Burgin Beauty and Mt. View Gem collided approaching the winning post. 

Mt. View Burner underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left front carpal pad injury.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Eye Candy, a post-race sample was subsequently taken.

A sample was taken from Zambora Tara upon arrival at the course.

Get Around Her was quick to begin. El Senor Verde was slow to begin.

Burgin Baby and Zambora Tara collided on the first turn. El Senor Verde checked off Flamin' Sam on the home turn. El Senor Verde crossed out on the home turn and collided with Zambora Tara and Tay Tay Swifty. El Senor Verde raced wide entering the home straight and again in the home straight.

A sample was taken from Lily Rose Harper upon arrival at the course.

Click And Win was slow to begin.

Leg Burner and Emma's Will collided several times approaching the first turn. Emma's Will galloped on Aussie Onyx approaching the first turn severely checking both greyhounds. Lily Rose Harper checked off Click And Win entering the home straight.

Fancy Mikado was quick to begin. Victory Fire was slow to begin.

Big City Nights checked off Zipping Margo approaching the first turn. Big City Nights crossed out approaching the first turn and collided with Valak. Victory Fire checked off Big City Nights approaching the second turn. Fancy Mikado and Big City Nights collided in the home straight. 

Gee Dalton and Grand Mac collided on the first turn. Mighty Matilda checked off Gee Dalton on the first turn. Fran Keeping visibly eased on the first turn. Princess America, Spritely Star and Shaun John collided on the first turn. Spritely Star galloped on Shaun John on the home turn severely checking Spritely Star. Princess America and Shaun John collided entering the home straight. 

Fran Keeping underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left triangle.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Gordon Edwards, the trainer of Fran Keeping regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the first turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Fran Keeping was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr Edwards pleaded not guilty to the charge, Fran Keeping was found guilty and suspended for 3 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Hurricane Miami with Mrs Victoria Sultana and noted her comments.

Bit Of Pepper was quick to begin. Lady Baba was slow to begin.

Capitis, Hurricane Miami and Mt. View Ginger collided approaching the first turn. Mt. View Ginger galloped on Hurricane Miami on the first turn. Capitis galloped on Lady Baba approaching the home turn checking Hurricane Miami; causing Capitis and Hurricane Miami to race wide on the home turn. Violation and Hurricane Miami collided in the home straight. Violation and Mt. View Ginger collided in the home straight.

Hurricane Miami underwent a post-race veterinary examination (frequency of racing) - no apparent injury was reported. 

Razor Roy was quick to begin.

Metro Boomin' and Cooped Up collided soon after the start. She's A Keeper and Razor Roy collided on the first turn. Teardrop and Lady Kin Lee collided on the first turn. Cooped Up raced wide on the first turn. No Way Nellie and Lady Kin Lee collided in the back straight. No Way Nellie checked off Metro Boomin' on the third turn.

A post-race sample was taken from Razor Roy - the winner of the event. 

Heaven's Tower – Late scratching at 2:18pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a left hind paw injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Boes Bambino and Soldier collided soon after the start checking Soldier. Aston Solar crossed out approaching the first turn. Judith checked off Matchbox Queen on the first turn; causing Aston Solar to race wide. Matchbox Queen and Devon Lass collided on the home turn.

A pre-race sample was taken from Celtic Gypsy.

Hard At It was very slow to begin (3 lengths).

Celtic Gypsy and Walk On Betty collided soon after the start. Walk On Betty, Another Attempt and Blazin' Jewel collided approaching the first turn severely checking Blazin' Jewel which fell and subsequently collided with Little Blazer; Little Blazer and Saw Blaze raced wide as a result. Walk On Betty and Another Attempt collided on the home turn. Walk On Betty, Another Attempt and Blazin' Jewel raced wide in the home straight. 

Blazin' Jewel underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Whizbang Pete was slow to begin.

Gracie's Girl and Push Start collided approaching the first turn checking Gracie's Girl and Shanghai Avatar. Shanghai Avatar and Whizbang Alice collided approaching the home turn checking Whizbang Alice. Hurricane Pete and Push Start collided approaching the home turn checking Hurricane Pete, Push Start, Gracie's Girl, Why Not Kez and Brother Griff. Shanghai Avatar and Push Start collided entering the home straight checking Shanghai Avatar.
