The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Gellar Bale with Trainer - Ms T Kennedy-Harris and noted her comments.
A pre-race sample was taken from Gellar Bale.
She’s So Lovable and Throw Caution were quick to begin. Gellar Bale and Stirling Lights were slow to begin. She’s So Lovable and Throw Caution collided approaching the first turn. Callum Ari and Emma Banjo collided on the first turn. Emma Banjo was checked off Throw Caution on the home turn and collided with Stirling Lights, severely checking Emma Banjo.
Gellar Bale underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.
A post race sample was taken from She’s So Lovable - winner of the event.
Stewards spoke to Mr Schofield regarding the undue delay in boxing She's So Lovable in this event. A warning was issued to Mr Schofield pursuant to GAR 51(9).
