Steward's Report
Desley was quick to begin. Fat Cracker, Crossfire and Bomber's Power collided approaching the first turn checking Bomber's Power. Crossfire, Desley, Dundee Reactor and Up The Dale collided on the first turn checking Crossfire, Fat Cracker, Desley, Dundee Reactor and Up The Dale. Crossfire galloped on Up The Dale on the first turn. Bomber's Power brushed the running rail on the home turn and collided with Dundee Reactor. Desley crossed out entering the home straight and collided with Up The Dale severely checking Crossfire and Up The Dale. Crossfire, Up The Dale and Desley collided in the home straight. Dundee Reactor crossed to the rail in the home straight and galloped on Bomber's Power.
Desley underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 4, no apparent injury could be detected.
A post-race sample was taken from Desley - the winner of the event.
Stewards spoke to Ms. Jennifer Gill, the trainer of Desley regarding its performance entering the home straight. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Desley must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
