The Stewards were advised that the track was deep harrowed on Thursday 12th August 2021.

Essential persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings, wore face-masks, observed social distance requirements and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

In The Spotlight was quick to begin.  Benjamin Rose was slow to begin.  Unravel and Bearish collided soon after the start.  Bearish and Unravel collided approaching the first turn causing Unravel to brush the running rail.  Bearish and Benjamin Rose collided on the first turn.  Still Chasing crossed out on the home turn and checked off Bearish.

Unravel underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Sugar Plum Fairy underwent a post-race veterinary examination -  no apparent injury was reported.

Desley was quick to begin.  Fat Cracker, Crossfire and Bomber's Power collided approaching the first turn checking Bomber's Power.  Crossfire, Desley, Dundee Reactor and Up The Dale collided on the first turn checking Crossfire, Fat Cracker, Desley, Dundee Reactor and Up The Dale.  Crossfire galloped on Up The Dale on the first turn.  Bomber's Power brushed the running rail on the home turn and collided with Dundee Reactor. Desley crossed out entering the home straight and collided with Up The Dale severely checking Crossfire and Up The Dale. Crossfire, Up The Dale and Desley collided in the home straight.  Dundee Reactor crossed to the rail in the home straight and galloped on Bomber's Power.

Desley underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 4, no apparent injury could be detected.

Stewards spoke to Ms. Jennifer Gill, the trainer of Desley regarding its performance entering the home straight.  Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Desley must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Hot Shaynna was quick to begin.  Wally Hook and Mechanics Kismet collided soon after the start.  All For Now crossed out on the first turn and checked off Queen Kathleen.  Madalia Phoebe checked off Reimagine on the first turn. Jeza You Beauty checked off Madalia Phoebe on the first turn.  Madalia Phoebe and Mechanics Kismet collided on the first turn.  Reimagine, All For Now and Wally Hook collided on the first turn checking All For Now.  Jeza You Beauty checked off Madalia Phoebe on the first turn.  Mechanics Kismet and All For Now collided approaching the home turn.

Big Bash Jess was quick to begin.  How High Austin was slow to begin.  Nathan Ryder, My Wanderer and Aussie Legend collided approaching the first turn.  Norwegian Wood checked off Big Bash Jess on the first turn.  My Wanderer and Aussie Legend collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.

Too Be Sure and Four Aces collided soon after the start.  Four Aces checked off Braemar Wallace approaching the first turn.  Four Aces and Braemar Wallace collided on the first turn.  Colonel Diesel brushed the running rail on the home turn and collided with Pay The Prince checking Colonel Diesel, Pay The Prince and Zipping Sense.  Four Aces checked off Braemar Wallace in the home straight.

Tiger Isla checked off Shantelle Rose approaching the first turn.  Ripplebrook Glen checked off Nella Ruslie approaching the first turn.  Flywheel Dolly and Hook Along Book collided on the first turn.  Cosmic Roy, Hook Along Book and Nicholas Rose collided on the first turn checking Hook Along Book and Shantelle Rose.  Hook Along Book and Shantelle Rose collided approaching the home turn. Tiger Isla raced wide in the home straight.

Nella Ruslie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind triangle muscle injury.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
