Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Rev The Jockey.
Saint Phoenix and Rev The Jockey were quick to begin. Shango Run and How High Austin were slow to begin. Saint Phoenix and Will‘s Bella collided approaching the first turn. Rev The Jockey and Avery Charm collided on the first turn checking Avery Charm. Highway Man was checked off Avery Charm on the first turn, Highway Man fell as a result. Zippy Customer and Shango Run collided approaching the home turn. Will’s Bella and How High Austin collided on the home turn.
Highway Man underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left shin and an abrasion on the head. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
There was no head on vision of the back straight for this event.
