Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Jayville Tuxedo.
Bigsy was quick to begin. Yeah Easy was slow to begin. Perfect Colour was checked off Camila entering the back straight. Madalia Mick was checked off Yeah Easy in the back straight severely checking Madalia Mick. Yeah Easy galloped on Camila approaching the home turn. Perfect Colour and Bigsy collided entering the home straight. Camila and Bigsy collided entering the home straight. Camila, Perfect Colour and Bigsy collided several times approaching the winning post.
Camila underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have bruising and swelling to the left metacarpals, bruising to the right achilles and spike wounds to both hind feet. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Ms. J. Gill regarding the racing manners of Camila entering the home straight and in the home straight. After hearing evidence from Ms. Gill, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the home straight and in the home straight.
