A pre-race sample was taken from Urana Blackie.
Millie Millions was quick to begin.
Cheery Ola Baby and Urana Blackie collided soon after the start; checking Urana Blackie and One Happy Hippo. Cheery Ola Baby and Millie Millions collided approaching the home turn; checking Cheery Ola Baby, Millie Millions and Big Boy Brooke.
Big Boy Brooke underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg triangle injury. A three day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Ms Deb Carr regarding the racing manners of Big Boy Brooke on the home turn and in the home straight. After hearing evidence from Ms Carr, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards took no further action.
