Steward's Report
Menari Vegas – Late scratching at 10:14 am on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a lacerated ear. A three day stand down period was imposed.
Black Strat, Narcelle, Loco Luca and Joe Baker collided on the first turn; severely checking Loco Luca and Narcelle; causing Narcelle to stumble. Black Strat galloped on the heels of Joe Baker approaching the home turn; checking both greyhounds. Megasonic checked off Saint Tess in the home straight.
Narcelle underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Loco Luca underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
