Steward's Report
All Inn Dungee was slow to begin.
All Inn Dungee and Up The Amount collided on the first turn. I'm Easy Boys and Kraken Doll collided approaching the second turn. Bessie's Daisy checked off Kraken Doll on the second turn, checking I'm Easy Boys. Up The Amount checked off Run Like Jess on the home turn. All Inn Dungee marred Drumroll Please in the home straight.
All Inn Dungee underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left hindleg paw, left and right forleg latissimus dorsi/trapezius muscle and right hindleg hip injuries. A five day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr Tony Duncan, the trainer of All Inn Dungee regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) All Inn Dungee was charged with marring. Mr Duncan pleaded guilty to the charge, All Inn Dungee was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Post-race samples were taken from Drumroll Please (1st) and All Inn Dungee (2nd).
