Showtime Boomer - Late scratching at 1.52pm due to the adverse weather conditions. No stand down period was imposed.
The start of this event was delayed by approximately 1 minute due to a Gosford race running late.
His Stop It was quick to begin. Freda Rocks, Galloping Speed and His Stop It collided on the first turn. Freda Rocks and Galloping Speed collided several times on the second turn, entering the back straight and again in the back straight. Freda Rocks and Galloping Speed collided on the third turn. Galloping Speed galloped on Freda Rocks on the home turn, crossed out and colllided with His Stop It, severely checking His Stop It.Riccarton Matt, Freda Rocks and Galloping Speed collided in the home straight.
