Steward's Report
Wilson’s Way was slow to begin. Nathan Ryder, Mystify Kick and Dr. Jax collided soon after the start. Pickett contacted the running rail approaching the first turn and fell as a result. Blazin’ Sushi and Dr. Jax collided several times on the home turn. Nathan Ryder raced wide in the home straight. Wilson’s Way and Pete collided several times approaching the winning post.
Pickett underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the left elbow, concussion and a swollen right eye. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
A post race sample was taken from - Rufiano (1st) and Mystify Kick (2nd).
