Wilson’s Way was slow to begin.  Nathan Ryder, Mystify Kick and Dr. Jax collided soon after the start.  Pickett contacted the running rail approaching the first turn and fell as a result.  Blazin’ Sushi and Dr. Jax collided several times on the home turn.  Nathan Ryder raced wide in the home straight. Wilson’s Way and Pete collided several times approaching the winning post.

Pickett underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the left elbow, concussion and a swollen right eye.  A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

The start of this event was delayed by approximately 1 minute due to a Gosford race running late.

Simon Says - Late scratching at 9.38am when Mr. B. Mackie reported the greyhound to be lame (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.

She‘s So Lovable was quick to begin.  She’s Got Wheels galloped on She’s So Lovable on the first turn checking Zachary and severely checking She’s So Lovable and She’s Got Wheels. Disorientated was checked off Soda Prince approaching the home turn.  Golden Skyrocket raced wide in the home straight.
