Invictus Kelly and Minter Explode were slow to begin.
Aston Vogue, Pacific Lass and Two Pars collided soon after the start. Aston Vogue and Two Pars collided on the first turn checking Two Pars. Mahomes raced wide on the first turn. Minter Explode and Gippsland Storms collided on the first turn checking Minter Explode. Aston Vogue and Pacific Lass collided approaching the second turn. Invictus Kelly checked off Gippsland Storms on the third turn. Pacific Lass checked off Gregarious on the third turn. Gippsland Storms checked off Two Pars approaching the home turn.
