Lakeview Lola was quick to begin.  Aston Elliot was slow to begin.

Aston Elliot and Tommy's No Angel collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn causing Aston Elliot to stumble checking Tommy's No Angel. Flying Hercules checked off Lakeview Lola entering the back straight.  Zipping Utah and Defensible collided entering the home straight.

Zipping Utah underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the left front foot.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Mrs Heather Collins regarding the racing manners of Zipping Utah entering the front straight.  After hearing evidence from Mrs. Collins, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners.

Aston Elliot underwent a post-race veterinary examination.  No apparent injury was reported.

Uno Shelby was quick to begin.

Trending River and Subtle Space collided soon after the start.  Sky And Thunder, Rockin' Rose, Trending River and Subtle Space collided on the first turn checking Subtle River, severely checking Sky And Thunder and Trending River.  Subtle Space checked off Uno Shelby on the third turn.  Sky And Thunder raced wide entering the back straight.  

Keenan Rocks was slow to begin.

Shim Bob and Brilliant Brian collided entering the front straight.  Cayden Bale and Money On Black collided entering the front straight.  Money On Black raced wide in the front straight.  Cayden Bale, Victory Fire and Keenan Rocks collided on the second turn checking Cayden Bale and severely checking Victory Fire.  Cayden Bale checked off Brilliant Brian in the back straight checking Cayden Bale.  Cayden Bale and Money On Black raced wide in the home straight.  

A post-race sample was taken from Shim Bob - winner of the event.  

Polite Reply was quick to begin. Zipping Loxley went up with the lids and lost ground (3 lengths).  

Polite Reply, Gypsy Tenille, Nikephoros and Flying Hurricane collided approaching the first turn severely checking Polite Reply.  Gypsy Tenille and Nikephoros collided on the first turn.  Zipping Loxley checked off Gypsy Tenille and collided with Nikephoros entering the back straight checking Zipping Loxley, Nikephoros and Polite Reply.

Assassinate was quick to begin.  Hurricane Tears was slow to begin.

Aston Fraiche, Strada, Super Zoom Jake and Joyful collided on the first turn checking Joyful.  Aston Fraiche checked off Super Zoom Jake approaching the home turn and collided with Joyful checking Aston Fraiche and Joyful.  Strada and Super Zoom Jake collided on the home turn.  

Cypress Bale and Need A Jockey were slow to begin.

Aston Marlon and Curfew collided soon after the start.  King Of Calypso and Aston Marlon collided on the first turn.  Willem Powerfish, Cypress Bale and Need A Jockey collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds.  King Of Calypso and Aston Marlon collided on the third turn.  Aston Marlon and Curfew collided on the third turn and again entering the home straight.

A sample was taken from Angel Glow upon arrival at the course.

A pre-race sample was taken from Slick Intention.

Angel Glow was quick to begin.

Head On Bonnie, Zing On and Slick Intention collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Head On Bonnie and Slick Intention.  Demolition and Plan Ahead collided on the home turn checking Demolition.  

A pre-race sample was taken from Ask For More.

Ask For More checked off Prince Cody entering the front straight and collided with Indian Shadow, Wonderful World, Bessie's Daisy and Entranced checking Ask For More, Entranced, severely checking Wonderful World and Bessie's Daisy, causing Wonderful World to fall as a result.  It's Not Fun and Venus Light collided entering the home straight.  Prince Cody and Bessie's Daisy raced wide in the home straight.

Wonderful World underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left deltoid and cervico-thoracic injuries.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Miers and Aston Pinot collided approaching the first turn.  Roxy Smirnoff, Miers, Aston Sunset and Aston Pinot collided on the first turn checking Roxy Smirnoff, Miers and Aston Pinot.  Miers brushed the running rail entering the back straight.  Roxy Smirnoff and Aston Pinot collided several times from entering the back straight to approaching the third turn checking Roxy Smirnoff. 

Aston Glow and Aston Champagne collided soon after the start.  Aston Champagne and Saint Mac collided on the first turn.  

Rip Off Roslyn started awkwardly, stumbled, and lost ground as a result.  Brute, Golden Ratio and Cornhill Rebel collided approaching the first turn.  Cornhill Rebel checked off Golden Ratio and collided with Rip Off Roslyn on the third turn checking Cornhill Rebel.  Gypsy Cinnamon and Ollie collided on the home turn.  

Royalty Runa was slow to begin.

Teardrop, Our Gilr Bailee and Fourth Dimention collided on the first turn.  Royalty Runa faltered on the home turn and subsequently pulled up.

Royalty Runa underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock fracture and an abrasion to the right hip.  A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards inspected the section of track on the home turn and deemed the surface suitable for racing.
