Sold By Sticker crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Tails Of Woe and severely checking Mikado Gal.  Quincee Bale and Basin Betty collided on the first turn checking Quincee Bale and Tails Of Woe, causing Vardan Bale to check off Tails Of Woe severely checking Tails Of Woe, Warden Bale and Mikado Gal; all three greyhounds raced wide as a result.  Varden Bale checked off Quincee Bale on the home turn.  

Sold By Sticker underwent a post-race veterinary examination due to an incident in the catching pen and was found to have a right carpal sprain.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Trainer Mr Brendan Pursell presented Sandra's Sticker to the Stewards at Sandown today after the weight recorded at this greyhounds first start at Geelong on 29 May 2021 appeared to be erroneously recorded. As this was Sandra's Stickers first start, that matter could only be resolved satisfactorily by checking the greyhound’s actual weight as no history of recorded weights was available. After being identified and weighed on-site, it clearly established that the weight recorded at the greyhounds first start could not possibly have been correct and it would be entirely unreasonable to not rectify the matter. Under the provisions of GAR 38 (1) - the Stewards deemed it necessary to make such order that 30.5kg will be officially recorded as the correct weight at Sandra's Sticker's first start.  

Whispy Watson and Lucy's Villa were slow to begin.

Lucy's Villa and Whodat Diva collided on the first turn. Cayden Bale and Whodat Diva raced wide entering the front straight. Whispy Watson and Whodat Diva raced wide on the second and third turns.  

Lawful Man was slow to begin.

Aston Paisley and Dr. Neeki collided soon after the start checking Dr. Neeki.  Lawful Man and Dr. Neeki collided on the first turn. Cousin's Ace checked off Aston Paisley on the first turn causing Cousin's Ace to race wide. Speed Limit and Dr. Neeki collided approaching the home turn.

Osprey Phantom went up with the lids at box rise.  Bonnie Goes Bang checked off Pirate Tails soon after the start.  Pirate Tails and Venomous Yaala collided on the first turn checking Pirate Tails and Bonnie Goes Bang.  Pirate Tails checked off Venomous Yaala approaching the second turn causing Pirate Tails to collide with Blackest Black, checking both greyhounds.  Pirate Tails and Venomous Yaala collided approaching the home turn checking Venomous Yaala.

Sitizano Rocks was slow to begin.

Hamillson checked off Night Shifter approaching the second turn. Saint Bluey, Hamillson and Sitizano Rocks collided several times from the back straight to the third turn checking Hamillson which faltered.  Shanlyn Kim and Night Shifter collided on the third turn checking Night Shifter.  

Hamillson underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left shoulder injury.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Lala Fig was slow to begin.

Family Trust and Moraine Izzy collided on the first turn.  Kid Caldwell and Ridge raced wide on the first turn.  Moraine Izzy and Rock It Jed collided on the third turn checking Moraine Izzy. 

A post-race sample was taken from Nitro Nikki - winner of the event.  

Lektra Yoyo and Dash Of Reyne were quick to begin.

Amelia Ella checked off Fernandes soon after the start.  Lektra Yoyo checked off Dash Of Reyne on the first turn checking Fernandes, Mighty Marvin and Call Me Chloe.  Amelia Ella turned its head outward and marred Dash Of Reyne on the home turn.  Mighty Marvin and Fernandes collided approaching the winning post.

Amelia Ella underwent a post-race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.  Stewards spoke to Mr Gerald Lanigan, the representative regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Amelia Ella was charged with marring.  Mr. Lanigan pleaded guilty to the charge, Amelia Ella was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Head On Bonnie, Graclyn Bale and Up The Amount were quick to begin.

Hostile Savage, Major Sacrifice and Close Your Eyes collided on the first turn checking Major Sacrifice, Close Your Eyes and severely checking Hostile Savage.  Up The Amount checked off Major Sacrifice on the home turn.  Hostile Savage checked off Up The Amount on the home turn.

A pre-race sample was taken from Zambora Bear. 

Joyful was quick to begin.  Aston Samurai was slow to begin.

Saint Mac and Zambora Bear collided approaching the first turn.  Zambora Bear and Kayden's Tiger collided on the first turn checking Zambora Bear, Kayden's Tiger and Aston Samurai.  Zambora Bear tired and lost ground in the home straight. 

Zambora Bear underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Blue Bandana was quick to begin.

Don't Argue Love and Matsumi collided on the third turn.

Beguile and Rebel May Road collided soon after the start.  Beguile, Rebel May Road and Kibitzer collided soon after the start checking Rebel May Road.  Beguile checked off Kibitzer approaching the first turn.  Kibitzer brushed the running rail on the third turn causing Rebel May Road to gallop on Kibitzer, checking both greyhounds.  Rebel May Road checked off Kibitzer on the home turn. Beguile and Kibitzer collided on the home turn.

Savannah Lee, Flaming Moses and Star Of Jasmine were slow to begin.

Malicious Yaala and Dancing Rose collided on the first turn checking Dancing Rose, severely checking Our Girl Bailee, Ethan's Fury and Star Of Jasmine, Ethan's Fury and Star Of Jasmine raced wide as a result.  Flaming Moses and Our Girl Bailee collided approaching the home turn.
