Steward's Report
Lektra Yoyo and Dash Of Reyne were quick to begin.
Amelia Ella checked off Fernandes soon after the start. Lektra Yoyo checked off Dash Of Reyne on the first turn checking Fernandes, Mighty Marvin and Call Me Chloe. Amelia Ella turned its head outward and marred Dash Of Reyne on the home turn. Mighty Marvin and Fernandes collided approaching the winning post.
Amelia Ella underwent a post-race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Gerald Lanigan, the representative regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Amelia Ella was charged with marring. Mr. Lanigan pleaded guilty to the charge, Amelia Ella was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
