All persons attending the venue today carried face masks, observed social distance requirements, and maintained room density quotients for the race meeting.

Hamillson was quick to begin.  Indy Fido was very slow to begin (5 lengths).

Shimmering Satin marred Minter Edition soon after the start.  Shimmering Satin and Indy Fido collided approaching the second turn.  Indy Fido and Minter Edition collided entering the back straight.  Indy Fido checked off Minter Edition on the third turn checking Shimmering Satin and Indy Fido.

Shimmering Satin underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr George Miltos regarding the greyhound’s racing manners soon after the start.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Shimmering Satin was charged with marring. Mr Miltos pleaded guilty to the charge, Shimmering Satin was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Agnet Bale was quick to begin.  Zipping Loxley was very slow to begin (3 lengths).

Jazzy Minter, Agnet Bale, Ridge and Write About Her collided on the first turn checking Agnet Bale, Ridge and Write About Her.  Jazzy Minter and Zipping Loxley collided approaching the third turn.  Agnet Bale checked off Jazzy Minter entering the home straight causing Agnet Bale and Write About Her to collide.  Write About Her raced wide throughout the event.

Indy Honey, Steamer Redeemer and Tommy's No Angel were quick to begin.  Indy Juno went up with the lids but was quick to begin.  Zipping Utah was very slow to begin (3 lengths).

Indy Juno and Indy Honey collided approaching the first turn checking Steamer Redeemer.  Indy Juno and Tommy's No Angel collided on the first turn.  Indy Juno checked off Tommy's No Angel approaching the second turn.  Steamer Redeemer checked off Indy Honey on the second turn.  Zipping Utah checked off Steamer Redeemer approaching the home turn checking Tommy's No Angel causing Tommy's No Angel to stumble and fall, checking Masters On Metro.  Masters On Metro's muzzle became dislodged during the event.

Tommy's No Angel underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Sky And Thunder was quick to begin.  Kuta Cowboy was slow to begin.

Aston Vogue, Galloping Run, Mac's A Million and Riccarton Matt collided on the first turn checking Mac's A Million and Riccarton Matt.  Galloping Run and Aston Vogue collided entering the back straight.  Riccarton Matt and Kuta Cowboy collided approaching the home turn.  Mac's A Million raced very wide throughout the event.

Upton Street was quick to begin.

Taking Notes stumbled at box rise.  Taking Notes and Inga Zach collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Inga Zach; causing Taking Notes, Classy Stringer and Klimenko to collide, severely checking Classy Stringer and Inga Zach which caused Klimenko to fall.

Klimenko underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a cervico-thoracic injury.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards noted that due to a technical malfunction the semaphore board failed to display 3rd placing for this event. 

Kingy Lights stumbled at the start.  Twin Pick and Ollie collided soon after the start.  Especial Envy, Tiger's Twenty, Ollie and Cornhill Tiger collided on the first turn checking Cornhill Tiger, causing Kingy Lights to race wide and lose ground.  Silver Compass and Ollie collided approaching the second turn.  Kingy Lights and Cornhill Tiger collided approaching the second turn.  Silver Compass checked off Tiger's Twenty on the second turn.  Twin Pick and Tron collided approaching the home turn.

A post-race sample was taken from Tiger's Twenty - the winner of the event.

Joyful was quick to begin.  Minter Explode was slow to begin (3 lengths).

Invictus Benson went up with the lids at box rise and collided with Good Boy Colombo soon after the start.  Invictus Benson crossed to the rails approaching the first turn checking Military Girl and Good Boy Colombo.  Good Boy Colombo and Minter Explode raced wide approaching the second turn.  Shall She Charm checked off Joyful approaching the home turn.

Big Wings went up with the lids at box rise but was quick to begin.

Brylee and Brady's Shout collided soon after the start and again on the first turn.  Inga Ollie and Brylee collided in the back straight.  Ripplebrook Glen and Inga Ollie collided approaching the home turn checking Inga Ollie.  Big Wings checked off Kilpatrick on the home turn.  Kilpatrick tired in the concluding stages of the event.

Demand Attention – Late scratching at 8:36pm on 10 April 2021 when Ms Kate Gorman reported the greyhound to have an Illness - Diarrhoea (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Indy Matilda was quick to begin.

Dr. Francisco checked off Rush Riccarton on the first turn causing Dr. Francisco to race wide and lose ground.  Mustang Charlie raced wide approaching the second turn.  Perfectly Poised and Indy Matilda collided entering the back straight.  Indy Matilda checked off Perfectly Poised on the third turn.

Diesel Runner, Boom Buster and Indy Ghost were quick to begin.

Indy Ghost crossed to the rails approaching the first turn causing Diesel Runner, Boom Buster and Indy Ghost to collide, checking Boom Buster and Blazer Edition.  Dr. Lexie checked off Blazer Edition approaching the first turn.  Dr. Lexie checked off Swing High approaching the second turn; Dr. Lexie raced wide as a result.  Swing High checked off Blazer Edition on the third turn. Indy Ghost checked off Diesel Runner approaching the home turn.  Boom Buster checked off Indy Ghost approaching the home turn. Blazer Edition checked off Boom Buster on the home turn. Dr. Lexie and Swing High collided entering the home straight.
