Steward's Report
All persons attending the venue today carried face masks, observed social distance requirements, and maintained room density quotients for the race meeting.
Hamillson was quick to begin. Indy Fido was very slow to begin (5 lengths).
Shimmering Satin marred Minter Edition soon after the start. Shimmering Satin and Indy Fido collided approaching the second turn. Indy Fido and Minter Edition collided entering the back straight. Indy Fido checked off Minter Edition on the third turn checking Shimmering Satin and Indy Fido.
Shimmering Satin underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr George Miltos regarding the greyhound’s racing manners soon after the start. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Shimmering Satin was charged with marring. Mr Miltos pleaded guilty to the charge, Shimmering Satin was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
