Steward's Report
Going Alright was quick to begin.
Zipping Utah and Swing High collided on the first turn checking Swing High. Zipping Randy galloped on Swing High on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Mepunga Ruby and Going Alright collided on the third turn checking Going Alright.
Swing High underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr Dennis Langley regarding the racing manners of Swing High on the first turn. After hearing evidence from Mr Langley, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the first turn.
A post-race sample was taken from Mepunga Ruby - the winner of the event.
