Steward's Report
Let's See, Floral Lace, Sir Truculent and Weblec Haze collided soon after the start checking Floral Lace. Blazing Cartier, Weblec Haze, Let's See and Maggie Moo Moo collided on the first turn. Blazing Cartier and Prim And Proper collided on the first turn. Blazing Cartier and Let's See collided approaching the second turn checking both greyhounds. Floral Lace checked off Prim And Proper on the fifth turn. Let's See checked off Prim And Proper approaching the home turn. Prim And Proper tired over the concluding stages.
Prim And Proper underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr D. Smith regarding the performance of the greyhound in this event. In accordance with GAR 75 (1), Stewards requested Mr Smith to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Prim And Proper in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
Post-race samples were taken from Maggie Moo Moo (1st) and Sir Truculent (2nd).
Supplementary Report: On Friday May 2021, Trainer Mr D Smith advised Stewards that Prim And Proper had; upon further inspection pulled up with a laceration and significant bruising to the right side hind leg.
