Steward's Report
All persons attending the venue today carried face-masks, observed social distance requirements and maintained room density quotients for the race meeting.
Super Estrella and Double Dipping were slow to begin.
Super Estrella and Bit Twisted collided on the first turn. Cosmic Sparkle and Flying Foxy collided on the second turn checking both greyhounds. Bit Twisted and Super Estrella collided approaching the third turn. Cosmic Sparkle faltered approaching the third turn and subsequently pulled up.
Cosmic Sparkle underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Father Phevos - winner of the event.
Following the running of this event Stewards inspected the track approaching the third turn and were satisfied it was satisfactory for racing.
