Steward's Report
All staff & participants attending the race-meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings and when engaged in the exclusive race-day functions of handling, boxing, starting & catching greyhounds.
Hot Diamond was quick to begin. Prince Nangana was slow to begin. Hot Diamond, Exit Sign, Queen Of Boss, Limitless Vodka, Red Nangana, Miss Keira Sharn and Blinken Lily collided soon after the start. Exit Sign and Queen Of Boss collided on the first turn checking Exit Sign which contacted the running rail as a result. Hot Diamond and Blinken Lily collided on the first turn checking Blinken Lily and severely checking Hot Diamond. Limitless Vodka, Red Nangana, Prince Nangana and Blinken Lily collided approaching the home turn checking Limitless Vodka and Red Nangana. Blinken Lily was checked off Prince Nangana on the home turn. Prince Nangana and Blinken Lily collided entering the home straight checking Blinken Lily. Limitless Vodka turned its head out in the home straight and collided several times with Blinken Lily.
Blinken Lily underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.
Exit Sign underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right wrist. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. G. O’Keefe the trainer of Limitless Vodka regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Limitless Vodka was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. O’Keefe pleaded guilty to the charge, Limitless Vodka was found guilty and suspended for 3 months all tracks and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72 before any future nomination will be accepted.
