Steward's Report
All persons (GRV & Club Staff, Licensed Participants & limited general public) attending the venue today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.
In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected'. At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 20.8 degrees and the kennel temperature was 18.8 degrees. The Stewards continually monitored the temperature at the venue as per the GRV Hot Weather Policy.
The Stewards were advised that the track was medium harrowed on Thursday 18 February 2021.
Kennels closed approximately 5 minutes after the advertised time due to Mr L. Wright presenting Inga Assalt late to kennels. Mr Wright was issued a warning.
Crumb Snags was slow to begin.
Roxy Rum Pumper and Zipping Trish collided soon after the start checking Zipping Trish. Crumb Snags and Snapper Smith collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.
