A pre-race sample was taken from Jaimandy Jester.
Blur was slow to begin. Electric Hippy and Jaimandy Jester collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Jaimandy Jester. Dewana Jayden and Jaimandy Jester collided approaching the home turn checking Jaimandy Jester.
Jaimandy Jester underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an right cervico thoratic injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
No head-on vision was available for this race.
