Starlight Pluto - New declared weight of 31.5 kg, last raced at 32.6 kg.
Little Wilma and Axedale Pirate collided approaching the first turn. Jungle Baron, Tingle and Starlight Pluto collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Axedale Pirate, Jungle Baron, Elusive Fly and Pure Ruby severely checking Tingle and Starlight Pluto. Tingle, Starlight Pluto and Elusive Fly collided approaching the home turn checking Elusive Fly. Axedale Pirate and Tingle collided on the home turn. Starlight Pluto and Pure Ruby collided entering the home straight. Little Wilma raced wide in the home straight. Elusive Fly and Pure Ruby collided in the home straight checking Pure Ruby.
Little Wilma underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Darren Fisher regarding the racing manners of Little Wilma approaching the first turn. After hearing evidence from Mr Fisher, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the first turn.
