Steward's Report
Eileen Jay – Late scratching at 8.56am due to non–arrival (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Mr Donald Jarvis informed Stewards that he had a vehicle breakdown on–route to the track. Stewards advised Mr Jarvis that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 48 hours of the occurrence that caused the non–arrival. The matter will be re–evaluated upon receipt of this evidence.
Sugar Boloney was slow to begin.
Ms. Lucky Leaves and Junket Jarrod collided soon after the start and approaching the 250m mark. Ms. Lucky Leaves checked off Junket Jarrod at the 250m mark.
A post-race sample was taken from Junket Jarrod - the winner of the event.
