All staff and participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of boxing, starting, and catching greyhounds. 

Hardaway Rocket was quick to begin. Midnight Pompeii was slow to begin.

My Amelda Rose crossed in soon after the start. Midnight Pompeii checked off Flying Torpedo at the 250m mark. Bruree Man turned its head inwards approaching the winning post.

Bruree Man underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock sprain and a right foreleg toe injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Edmund Dollery regarding the racing manners of Bruree Man approaching the winning post.  After hearing evidence from Mr Dollery, viewing all the available race footage and taking into account the injuries sustained, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post.

Tullamore Lad – Late scratching at 8.54am due to non–arrival (GAR 31).  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.  Mr Donald Jarvis informed Stewards that he had a vehicle breakdown on–route to the track.  Stewards advised Mr Jarvis that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 48 hours of the occurrence that caused the non–arrival.  The matter will be re–evaluated upon receipt of this evidence.

Ronnie Armo was slow to begin. 

False Alarm turned its head inwards and collided with Electro Guru approaching the 100m mark checking Electro Guru. Killshot checked off Electro Guru approaching the winning post. False Alarm visibly eased and collided with Line Stopper approaching the winning post checking Killshot.

False Alarm underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Ronald Kenworthy regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at the 100m mark.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) False Alarm was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Kenworthy pleaded guilty to the charge, False Alarm was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

A post-race sample was taken from False Alarm - unplaced in the event.

Eileen Jay – Late scratching at 8.56am due to non–arrival (GAR 31).  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.  Mr Donald Jarvis informed Stewards that he had a vehicle breakdown on–route to the track.  Stewards advised Mr Jarvis that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 48 hours of the occurrence that caused the non–arrival.  The matter will be re–evaluated upon receipt of this evidence. 

Sugar Boloney was slow to begin.

Ms. Lucky Leaves and Junket Jarrod collided soon after the start and approaching the 250m mark. Ms. Lucky Leaves checked off Junket Jarrod at the 250m mark.

A post-race sample was taken from Junket Jarrod - the winner of the event.

Nova's Girl was slow to begin.

Magic Marjen faltered at the 250m mark.

Magic Marjen underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from My Dewana Penny. 

Prince Hector and Mr. Blurton were slow to begin.

Meehan Tommy checked off Amlin Crystal at the 100m mark causing Meehan Tommy to collide with Just The Marjen. Meehan Tommy checked off Just The Marjen at the 50m mark. My Dewana Penny and Amlin Crystal collided at the 50m mark.

Ms Constance McMillan was issued with a warning under (GAR 86(o)) for negligence after the greyhound, Buck The Jockey was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process.

The kennel attendant was reminded of his responsibilitie after the greyhound, Buck The Jockey was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process.  This matter was referred to the Club Manager for further consideration and remediation.

Boes Rose was quick to begin.

Heads Or Tails, Buck The Jockey, Dakar, Blackpool Astro and Stella Diamond collided soon after the start checking all five greyhounds. Heads Or Tails crossed out at the 250m mark checking Blackpool Astro. Stella Diamond checked off Heads Or Tails at the 200m mark.

Braemar Wallace, Naga Viper and Burnish collided soon after the start and again at the 300m mark. Burnish shifted in at the 200m mark and collided with Naga Viper. Burnish galloped on the heels of Tiny Shiny approaching the winning post checking Tiny Shiny.

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Zarate with trainer, Mr David Jensen and noted their comments

Magic Mark and Zarate were slow to begin.

Magic Mark and Zarate collided soon after the start. Keybow Sally and Mumma's Bear collided at the 200m mark checking Magic Mark and Keybow Sally. Magic Mark and Keybow Sally collided at the 150m mark. Zarate checked off Addy Belle at the 50m mark.

Zarate underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

A sample was taken from Pretty Much upon arrival at the course.

A pre-race sample was taken from Amlin Frozen. 

Pretty Much was slow to begin.

Pretty Much checked off Amlin Frozen soon after the start. Pretty Much and Babel collided at the 50m mark checking Pertty Much.

Infinite Will was quick to begin.

Don's Scolari was slow to begin.

No Tickles faltered at the 50m mark and lost ground as a result. Don's Scolari and Walking On Fire collided approaching the winning post.

No Tickles underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a discloctated right wrist. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Supplementary Report: No Tickles was further examined by Dr A. Smith at Sandown and was found to have a chipped stopper bone which required a cast to fitted.
