All persons attending the venue today carried face masks, observed social distance requirements, and maintained room density quotients for the race meeting.
All To Mac was quick to begin. Keenan Rocks, Bomber's Power and Blazin' Mist were slow to begin.
Blazin' Sushi and Polite Reply collided approaching the first turn. Elswyk Suzie, Good Boy Colombo and All To Mac collided on the first turn checking Elswyk Suzie and Good Boy Colombo. Keenan Rocks and Blazin' Sushi collided on the first turn checking Blazin' Sushi. Blazin' Mist galloped on Bomber's Power on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Good Boy Colombo and Polite Reply collided approaching the home turn. Elswyk Suzie and Keenan Rocks collided on the home turn.
Blazin' Mist underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left hamstring. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
There was no head-on vision in the back straight for this event.
