Big Beaver and Aston Wise collided soon after the start. Global Trader and Soda Titan collided approaching the first turn. Big Beaver and Aston Wise collided on the first turn checking Aston Wise. Miss Martina and Big Beaver collided approaching the home turn. Off Centre and Global Trader collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn. Miss Martina raced wide in the home straight.
Miss Martina underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left monkey muscle. A 5 days stand down period was imposed.
