Tinker Luke was slow to begin. Pontente Rocks galloped on Mess approaching the first turn severely checking Mess. Potente Rocks and Fawn Missile collided approaching the first turn checking Potente Rocks. Zero Connection and Avery collided on the first turn. Fawn Missile checked off Zero Connection on the home turn. Avery and Zereva collided entering the home straight. Avery and Fawn Missile collided in the home straight.
Zero Connection underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound on the right wrist. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
