Water Dragon – Late scratching at 4.11 pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a laceration to the left hind foot.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.  

Write About Her and Peak Power collided soon after the start checking Write About Her. Coco To Burn and Write About Her collided on the first turn. Peak Power faltered and pulled up on the home turn.

Peak Power underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 3, no apparent injury could be detected. Stewards spoke to Tracey Deglaitis, representative of Peak Power, regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Peak Power was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Ms T. Deglaitis pleaded guilty to the charge, Peak Power was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Geelong and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Aston Pinot checked off Very Elegant soon after the start. Snow Onyx checked off Finch approaching the first turn. Feel The Rhythm checked off Finch on the first turn also checking Explosive Yaala and Snow Onyx. Feel The Rhythm and Very Elegant collided approaching the home turn. Explosive Yaala and Gippsland Storms collided approaching the winning post.

Peter Coin – Late scratching at 3.53 pm due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer Mr. K. Brooks was fined $100. 

Bill Bob Lad and Stanley Boy collided soon after the start.

Taltarni Black, Matsumi, Blackpool Storm, Don't Argue Love and Hebridean Black collided soon after the start checking Matsumi and Don't Argue Love.  Taltarni Black checked off Blackpool Storm on the first turn. Don't Argue Love and Westar Misty collided approaching the winning post.

Zevatron and Do It collided soon after the start checking Zevatron. Twin Pick galloped on Blue Bandana on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Zevatron raced wide on the home turn.
