Steward's Report
Coconut Miss, Redzin and Up The Amount collided soon after the start checking Redzin. Affair Bit, Flaming Moses, Up The Amount and Ishmy Neecy collided on the first turn checking all four greyhounds. Fernando Frank and Coconut Miss collided on the first turn checking Coconut Miss. Affair Bit raced wide on the first turn. All Inn Benny, Affair Bit and Redzin collided on the third turn checking Affair Bit. All Inn Benny and Coconut Miss collided approaching the winning post.
Affair Bit underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hamstring injury and a left hind spike wound . A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Martin Hanke regarding the racing manners of Affair Bit on the first turn. After hearing evidence from Mr Hanke, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the first turn.
