Steward's Report
All persons attending the venue today carried face masks, observed social distance requirements, and maintained room density quotients for the race meeting.
A sample was taken from Killer Miss upon arrival at the course.
Bell Topper and Sprinkler System were quick to begin.
Bell Topper, Spanish Paso, Greysynd Shock and Sprinkler System collided on the first turn checking Spanish Paso, Greysynd Shock and Bag Secured, and severely checking Bell Topper. Greysynd Shock and Killer Miss collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.
Tzar's Ghost underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left shoulder injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Cameron Bahen regarding the racing manners of Tzar's Ghost on the first turn. After hearing evidence from Mr Bahen, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the first turn.
