Cracked Soda and Rain Dance collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds. Rain Dance shifted in and visibly eased in the home straight checking Cracked Soda.

Rain Dance underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right deltoid muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer, Mr Simon Humphries regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Rain Dance was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Humphries pleaded guilty to the charge, Rain Dance was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Meehan Marlow and What Price collided approaching the first turn. All Inn Abby and Bulleteer collided on the first turn checking All Inn Abby. Glamorous Lass and Bulleteer collided approaching the home turn checking Glamorous Lass. Smart As Jack checked off All Inn Abby on the home turn. What Price raced wide in the home straight.

Moyarra Whiz and Totally Know collided on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds. Starchie checked off All Inn Jasper approaching the home turn.

Stewards opened and adjourned an inquiry into an alleged verbal altercation between trainers Mr Brent Merton and Ms Adele Powell following the running of this event.  At Shepparton on 3/4/21 Mr Merton and Ms Powell were questined further in relation to this matter. Stewards determined that there was insufficient evidence to proceed with a charge against any person, however both were reminded of their responsibilities in regard to their conduct as licensed persons.

An out of competition sample was taken from Ashlin Jem on 23/03/21 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Golden Boy crossed in and collided with Ashlin Gem on the first turn checking Bean's Multi, All Inn Christy, Nalani, Easy Street and Bitter Dash. Bitter Dash and Nalani collided approaching the home turn. Fletcher Jay raced wide in the home straight.

Bitter Dash underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
