Bejarano– Late scratching at 2.19pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr Stephen Toner was fined $100.
Emergency was slow to begin. Akina Harley and Tinker Count were very slow to begin (3 lenghts). Threadin' Mikado, Natsu Bale and Emergency collided approaching the first turn checking Natsu Bale. Akina Harley and Emergency collided on the first turn. Threadin' Mikado and Akina Harley collided on the third turn. Akina Harley checked off Galloping Albi entering the home straight and collided with Romeo Lad. Natsu Bale and Emergency collided entering the home straight.
Tinker Count underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
