Love Not War and Agent Jade were slow to begin and collided soon after the start. Celtic Deed and Chesty La Rue collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Love Not War checked off Agent Jade on the first turn. Soldier crossed to the rail on the first turn and collided with Agent Jade, checking Chesty La Rue and Agent Jade and severely checking Soldier; Celtic Deed raced wide as a result.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Totally Balanced, a post-race sample was subsequently taken.

Winter's Coming was slow to begin.

Silver Harp shifted out soon after the start checking Aussie Onyx and Snow Flake and severely checking Le Val. Aussie Onyx and Totally Balanced collided on the first turn checking Winter's Coming and Totally Balanced and causing Snow Flake to race wide. Aussie Onyx and Totally Balanced collided entering the home straight.

Urana Vieri and Bella Porscha collided soon after the start. Bella Porscha checked off Edge Serena on the first turn checking One Double Beat, Astro Naughton and Knock An Scratch. Astro Naughton and Knock An Scratch collided approaching the home turn. One Double Beat and Knock An Scratch collided entering the home straight.

Highway Man was quick to begin.

Highway Man, Lost Frequency and Defensible collided approaching the first turn checking Lost Frequency and Defensible. Lost Frequency raced wide from approaching the second turn to the third turn.

Don't Get Lippy and Why Not Kez collided soon after the start. Shanghai Avatar, Fast Talker and Lewis Osti collided soon after the start checking Fast Talker. Don't Get Lippy, Why Not Kez, Shanghai Avatar and Lewis Osti collided on the first turn checking Shanghai Avatar, Fast Talker and Lewis Osti. Fast Talker checked off Lewis Osti approaching the home turn.

Indy's Happy and Kalbarri collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Scraping Paint, Line Trike and Rona Express collided approaching the home turn. Why Not Rose and Line Trike collided in the home straight.

Lady Kin Kee was slow to begin.

Over Talking and Spritely Star collided approaching the first turn. Spritely Star checked off Silver Destroyer on the first turn. Over Talking and Lady Kin Kee collided on the first turn. Break The Plate and Silver Destroyer collided on the home turn checking Over Talking and Silver Destroyer. Over Talking raced wide in the home straight. 

Aston Rosa and Mighty Tracey collided soon after the start. Why Not Hutch and Rumour Is Fact collided soon after the start and again on the first turn checking Why Not Hutch. Mighty Tracey checked off Beers On Brody on the home turn.

A pre-race sample was taken from Blazin' Zen.

Electrifying checked off Blinken Lily soon after the start. Blinken Lily crossed to the outside on the first turn causing Zarate to gallop on Blinken Lily, checking both greyhounds which raced wide as a result. Zarate, Blazin' Zen and Blinken Lily collided on the second turn checking Blazin' Zen and severely checking Blinken Lily. Blazin' Zen and Blinken Lily collided several times from entering the home straight to the winning post, checking both greyhounds. 

Blinken Lily underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left foreleg shin soreness. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Representative, Mr Michael Ryan, regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the first turn. After hearing evidence from Mr Ryan, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the first turn.

Between Jobs and Akina Harley were slow to begin.

Mow A Meadow and Between Jobs collided soon after the start. Mow A Meadow and Zipping Chester collided on the first turn. Mow A Meadow and Zipping Chester collided on the home turn and again approaching the winning post.

Zipping Chester underwent a post-race veterinary examination after falling past the winning post - no apparent injury was reported.

Akina Bear was slow to begin.

Akina Bear and Aston Lights collided soon after the start. Big Tango and Aston Lights collided on the first turn checking Big Tango. Akina Bear checked off Piece Of Heaven approaching the home turn.

Get Around Her and Saw Blaze collided soon after the start. Crown Jimmy, Mighty Tuscany and Miss Angel Di collided approaching the first turn causing Crown Jimmy to contact the running rail and lose ground. Mighty Tuscany, Miss Angel Di and Saw Blaze collided on the first turn checking Saw Blaze and severely checking Miss Angel Di. Will's Bella and Get Around Her collided on the home turn and again in the home straight.
