Steward's Report
Zappening was quick to begin. Little Mumma Cry, Cavalli Club and Road Ace were slow to begin. Little Mumma Cry and Too Dear collided approaching the first turn, checking Little Mumma Cry, Cavalli Club, Road Ace and Acola Jade. Zappening checked off Old Jock approaching the first turn, checking Too Dear and Little Mumma Cry. Cavalli Club checked off Road Ace on the first turn, and collided with Acola Jade. Little Mumma Cry contacted the runnng rail on the home turn. Zappening and Boolite Tequila collided entering the home straight.
Trainer Kerrie Prouse explained to stewards that Too Dear had suffered considerable interference at its most recent start at Horsham on 20.5.2014 and with ordinairy luck in running she expected an improved performance today. Ms. Prouse also stated she believed the greyhound was better suited by todays distance of 480mtrs.
Little Mumma Cry was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
