Steward's Report
Darren Fisher, trainer of Shamus's Entity redeclared a new weight of 30.2kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39 (2). Shamus's Entity last raced at 31.9kg on 2.2.2014.
Starvin' Seagull, Dargo Street and Quicker Than Al were slow to begin. Dargo Street and Quicker Than Al collided soon after the start, checking Dargo Street. Shamus's Entity, Quicker Than Al and Mera Bale collided on the first turn, checking Quicker Than Al and Dargo Street, and severely checking Mera Bale which fell. Shamus's Entity and Chief's Choice collided on the home turn.
Mera Bale was vetted folowing the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fracture to the right hock, a twenty-eight day stand down period was imposed.
