Steward's Report
Elite Tulip was slow to begin. Claretown Tex went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.
Ty's Little Lad and Elite Tulip collided approaching the first turn checking Ty's Little Lad. Quiver's Ace checked off Seabrook Snow on the first turn. Elite Tulip and Quiver's Ace collided approaching the home turn checking Quiver's Ace. Elite Empress and Garga Mill collided in the home straight checking Garga Mill.
Garga Mill was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right fan muscle and the pelvis. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards issued a warning to catcher Mr. Brad Weightman after he failed to catch the greyhound Mint Murphy in this event.
