Steward's Report
Representative Mr. Phillip Repici failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Parumba Barty for racing. A warning was issued pursuant to GAR 46 (2).
Blazin' Lola and Let Out were slow to begin.
Lucero, Blazin' Lola, Tiffy's Express and Let Out collided soon after the start. Parumba Barty and Tiffy's Express collided on the first turn. Parumba Barty checked off Blazin' Lola approaching the home turn. Let Out and Potato Sunrise collided on the home turn. Tiffy's Express and Let Out collided entering the home straight. Tiffy's Express turned its head outward approaching the winning post.
Tiffy's Express underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right thigh injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr. Robert Coloys regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Tiffy's Express was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Colpoys pleaded guilty to the charge, Tiffy's Express was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
