Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Crypto Creek, a post-race sample was subsequently taken.
Dr. Mick and Rona Express were quick to begin.
Pyrenees Alpha and Black Mustang collided soon after the start. Dr. Mick and Rona Express collided approaching the first turn. Pai Gow Poker, Pyrenees Alpha, Black Mustang and Crypto Geek collided approaching the first turn; checking Pyrenees Alpha and Black Mustang; severely checking Crypto Geek. Pai Gow Poker and Pyrenees Alpha raced wide in the home straight.
Crypto Geek underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foreleg deltoid muscle injury. A five day stand down period was imposed.
