Steward's Report
All staff and participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of handling, boxing, starting and catching greyhounds.
Trainer Ms T. Cornell was issued a warning pursuant to GAR31(1) for her tardiness in kennelling the greyhound Rio Baskin. Kennels closed approximately 7 minutes past the advertised closure time. In not issuing a fine, Stewards considered Ms Cornell's record coupled with the delay in kennelling due to the late scratching of Little Nellie.
Pursuant to GAR 104(6) Kennel Attendant, Ms. P. Toner did not act in any official capacity for races 1 - 4 that may have in any way, affected the outcome of those events.
Snow Flake and Prabaker were quick to begin. Winter's Coming was very slow to begin (4L).
Mini Higgins and Piece Of Heaven collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.
